Patsy Sue Beets

Patsy Sue Beets, 81, of Tecumseh, died Monday April 8th, 2024, at her residence.

She was born December 26, 1942, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Edgar and Vera (Edney) Giddens.

Patsy graduated from Vamoosa High School in 1961.

On May 27, 1961 she married Larry Beets.

She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and being around family.

Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Beets; her parents; her sister, Sandra Godwin; son-in-law, Robby Sweetin; daughter-in-law, Patti Beets.

Survivors include three children, Terry Lynn Beets of Apache, OK, Jeanne Marie Sweetin of the home and Jawanai “Jo” Baggett of the home; grandchildren, Taryn and Kendric Reed, Lee Blackard, Anthony and Ashley Blackard, Jesse and Sierra Baggett, Brook and Brent Nelson, and Justin and Gabby Sweetin; 17 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 11th  and from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, April 12th at Cooper Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 12th at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Keith Ward, Taproot Church, Shawnee, OK officiating.  Burial will follow at Wanette Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
